MOU Signed between GSI and IIT Madras

GSI had signed MOU with IIT Madras for the establishment of world class centre for excellence for research and testing of glass and building envelope products for their safety and structural performance. 

     Phase I: For the setup of Structural Glass Research and Testing (SGRT) Facility for Safety and Structural Performance of Processed Glass and 

     Phase II: For the setup of Fenestration Research and Testing (FRT) Facility for the Structural Performance of Window / Facade. 

The MOU was signed by Mr R Subramanian, Chairman, Glazing Society of India and Prof S R Gandhi, Head of Department, Civil Engineering Department, IIT Madras in the presence of Professors from IIT Madras and Industry Captains and representatives.
