Inauguration of AGRT Facility Phase-II at CSIR-CGCRI

Secretary, DSIR & Director General, CSIR Dr. N. Kalaiselvi inaugurated the Architectural Glass Research & Testing Facility at CSIR- CGCRI on 25.02.2023 in the presence of Dr Suman Kumari Mishra, Director, CSIR - CGCRI, Mr Gopal Ganatra, Chairman, Glazing Society of India (GSI) & Executive Director, Asahi India Glass, Mr G N Gohul Deepak, Executive Director, GSI, Dr K Annapurna, Chief Scientist, CSIR - CGCRI, Mr Sitendu Mandal, Head, Speciality Glass & Chief Scientist, CSIR - CGCRI and other eminent scientists and industry representatives.

This unique facility was established in a joint collaboration of CSIR - CGCRI and the GSI would provide State-of-art research and testing services to the entire construction industry in performance testing for architectural glass, profiles, glazing products, and its associated materials.
